How it started
Mankey Mind is dedicated to helping people with ADHD feel seen, understood and genuinely supported.
It grew out of my own ADHD journey, shaped by mindfulness and the discovery of the Buddhist term Monkey Mind - a description of mental restlessness, an overwhelmed mind and thoughts that swing from branch to branch.
This captured my inner world so accurately that it became the inspiration for Mankey Mind. It’s been a lifelong, often challenging path, one that eventually led me into national advocacy and my work as Chairman and now Trustee of ADHD UK.

Testimonials
Some reflections from clients I've supported:
Sammi
I was diagnosed with ADHD at 26 and was really struggling, especially with opening up about how I felt. Neal created such a calm, non-judgemental space that I immediately felt at ease. For the first time, I was able to properly express my thoughts and emotions and just getting that off my chest felt incredible.
Neal’s calm, approachable style made all the difference. I always felt heard, never judged, and much more confident in managing my ADHD. Speaking to someone who truly “gets it” was a breath of fresh air, I felt understood and accepted.

I am recently diagnosed (around 6 months now) and appointed Neal as my ADHD coach. Neal was a breath of fresh air and guided me through each of my sessions with complete care and professionalism.
He took the time to listen to me and provided me with helpful tips during each session which made me feel supported and enabled me to process certain aspects of my ADHD that I had been struggling with.

When I first spoke to Neal I was feeling pretty overwhelmed and didn’t really know how to put things into words. I just needed someone who would listen properly and not judge.
Neal was calm, grounded and really easy to talk to. I felt understood straight away, which made a big difference. The sessions gave me space to get things out, make sense of what was going on, and feel more settled within myself.
No pressure. No expectations.
Just a conversation.
