Ethics Statement
At Mankey Mind, my coaching practice is rooted in compassion, honesty and respect. Living with ADHD myself, I know how important it is to create a space where people feel genuinely understood and safe. That’s the standard I hold myself to in every conversation.
Putting You at the Centre
Coaching is your space, not mine. Your goals, your pace and your values guide the work we do together. I don’t diagnose or prescribe. Instead, I walk alongside you - helping you explore what matters, make sense of your experiences and build approaches that feel realistic and sustainable.
Confidentiality & Trust
Anything you share with me stays between us. I treat confidentiality with the utmost seriousness and will only break it if required by law or if there is a clear risk of harm. Trust is the foundation of good coaching, and I work hard to protect it.
Clear Professional Boundaries
I’m a coach, not a clinician or crisis service. My role is to support, challenge and encourage you - not to provide therapy or medical advice. If something comes up that sits outside the scope of coaching, I’ll always be honest about that and help you find the right kind of support.
Lived Experience, Used Responsibly
My own ADHD experience helps me empathise, but it never leads me to assume. ADHD shows up differently for everyone. I listen first, stay curious and tailor our work to your individual needs rather than projecting my story onto yours.
An Evidence‑Informed Approach
I draw on established coaching methods, current ADHD research and mindfulness practices. I’m committed to ongoing learning, supervision and professional development so that my practice remains ethical, grounded and genuinely useful.
Respect, Inclusion & Non‑Judgement
Everyone is welcome here. I’m committed to creating a space where people of all backgrounds, identities and neurotypes feel respected and able to show up exactly as they are - without judgement, stigma or pressure to fit a mould.
Empowerment Over Perfection
ADHD coaching isn’t about “fixing” you. It’s about helping you understand your mind, build confidence and create systems that work with your brain rather than against it. My ethical commitment is to support your autonomy, celebrate your strengths and help you move forward in a way that feels authentic and achievable.
